  • Additional canals that were not detected: In some cases, there may be additional root canals that were not treated during the initial procedure.
  • Poor restoration of the tooth: The restoration of the tooth after the initial treatment (e.g., filling, crown) may have been damaged or may not be sufficient to protect the tooth.
